Job Title: State Project Manager
Location:Â Benue
Employment Type: Full-time
Duration: 24 months (renewable)
Project: OPD Strengthening, GBV-MH, MHPSS, and Governance Capacity Building
Job Description
- We are looking for a results-driven Project Manager to lead an impactful project focused on women’s health, GBV response, MHPSS, and disability inclusion. If you’re passionate about driving real change at community level, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead planning, coordination, and execution of project activities
- Oversee trainings on GBV, MHPSS, Psychological First Aid, governance, and leadership
- Strengthen referral pathways across health, protection, and social services
- Support OPDs in institutional strengthening and formal registration processes
- Manage budgets, work plans, and donor reporting
- Build and maintain partnerships with government, CSOs, and community stakeholders
- Ensure quality monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL) systems
- Supervise project staff, consultants, and facilitators
- Ensure safeguarding, gender equality, and inclusion principles are integrated
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s Degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or related field
- Must have 5–7 years of relevant program management experience
- Strong experience in women’s health, GBV, MHPSS, or disability inclusion
- Demonstrated experience managing donor-funded projects
- Excellent leadership, coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong financial and budget management experience
- Experience working with OPDs is a strong advantage
