OBJECTIVE: Support the strengthening of skills and abilities and create a culture of health in the population. Providing information and tools for them to exercise better control over their own health and the environment in which they live.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
• Participate in the implementation of activities and identify indicators to monitor the activities, results and achievements of the implementation of the activities of the health program.
• Provide support to the Medical, Program and MEAL teams, for the organization and execution of evaluations and investigations on the impact of health activities and identifying and reporting on the limitations, difficulties or strong points of the health activities strategy. inside and outside the medical structures, in order to strengthen the link between the communities and the project.
• Provide support in the selection and development of quality pedagogical communication strategies for the community.
• Plan information campaigns, including goals, objectives, methods and objectives to increase awareness among the target population.
• Inform, according to the protocols, the members of the community and the identified risk groups on issues related to health.
• Organize health advocacy sessions for IMC staff in BolÃvar State.
• Identify the key actors (national authorities, national NGOs, traditional healers, formal or informal authorities) to support the dissemination of health information for the target population and be the point of reference for the relationship and interconnection between them. .
• Organize, train and supervise the Medical team regarding the planning and organization of their work, support, evaluate and train the staff, compile reports and report the activities of each health worker and regularly visit the communities that are under their supervision. responsibility.
• Compile and report to the Medical team any information related to the health situation of the population and patients.
Minimum requirements:
- Professional education in the area of ​​Health (Medicine, Nursing or other related), Sociology, Education or related careers.
- Work experience in the execution of sanitary projects of at least 1 year.
- Knowledge in management of reports regarding pertinent morbidities, daily reports as well as medical references, among others.
