The RIPOSTE program and the missions
The CRF’s epidemic preparedness, prevention and response program (RIPOSTE program) for which we are recruiting, aims to strengthen the capacities of institutional actors and civil society in the face of epidemic risks. For this, the Response program consists on the one hand in improving the capacities of the various health and disaster risk management actors in the prevention, preparation and response in the event of epidemics. On the other hand, it also acts at the level of capacity building of CRCR National Societies, enabling them in turn, thanks to the achievements of the program (training, manuals, guides, revision of contingency plans, etc.), to strengthen resilience. vulnerable communities to deal with epidemic risks.
The objectives of this program are to standardize the aspects of preparing for and responding to epidemics with the contribution of concrete tools that can be used by actors in the field and to facilitate the integration of the approaches used. Each tool developed is then tested by the teams on the ground. This work will strengthen the capacities of local actors but also of international organizations intervening in epidemics for the benefit of affected populations.
