Job Summary
This position is based at the selected district in Sindh. District Coordinator will be responsible to oversee successful implementation of multi-level TB interventions and selected Global Health Security Agenda interventions in target districts of Sindh under the USAID’s IHSS-SD Activity project. His/her duties include performing assigned tasks, supervising field activities, overseeing performance of team members, establishing and maintaining coordination with all stakeholders, and ensuring quality data collection on prescribed tools. He/she will organize all the planned events, and report on all the activity details, and serve as a liaison between the team members, the implementing partners and the project management.

Duties and Responsibilities
Overall supervision of district level activities under the project, and keeping project management informed at Contech Head office and JSI designated staff on regular basis. Other key responsibilities include:
- Establish liaison with the District Health Officer and district coordinators for TB, MNCH, DHIS2, and other related staff at DHO office,
- Organize and participate in project review and coordination meetings with stakeholders,
- Support in developing micro-plan for mobile health unit in consultation with the unit medical officer, the district TB and MNCH coordinators, representative of NGO implementing partner and other stakeholders in the district,
- Ensure availability of supplies and consumables required for planned mobile health unit activities,
- Support to ensure correct entry of data on field activities, and review for data quality on daily basis,
- Supervise field activities and share regular report on performance of staff and achievement of targets on weekly, monthly and quarterly basis using prescribed formats,
- Take pictures of project activities according to approved protocol and share with Contech and JSI designated staff,
- Ensure enlistment of project inputs in the relevant facility stock register/s,
- Coordinate with unit medical officer, representative of NGO implementing partner and other stakeholders for ensuring presence of targeted clients and provide necessary support for successful field visits of mobile unit, and
- Perform any other assigned project related activity.
Job Requirements and Qualifications
Following are the requirements and qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Public Health / Health Administration / Public Administration / Economics, or equivalent,
- Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in key areas of operations and systems,
- Preferably domiciled from same district,
- Knowledge or familiarity with Government Health Department,
- Good written communication skills,
- Willingness to travel in the field as per requirements, and
- Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and schedules, deal with frequent interruptions, and work as part of a team.

External: JSI Team (Director M&E, Director Programs Sindh, Field Manager) and RSPN Team (District Manager, Community Health Workers)
