Doctors with Africa CUAMM is the first NGO in the healthcare area officially recognized in Italy. Founded in 1950 with the aim of training doctors to work in developing countries, CUAMM is working in Angola, Ethiopia, Mozambique, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda and the Central African Republic implementing healthcare projects in partnership with local governments and institutions.
JOB TITLE:Â Paediatrician
JOB LOCATION:Â Central African Republic, Paediatric Complex of Bangui

DURATION:Â 6-12 months
REQUIREMENTS
- University Degree in Medicine and Surgery with further specialisation or equivalent title in Paediatrics
- Good knowledge of written and spoken French
- Solid experience in paediatrics
- Previous experience in fragile contexts and/or low resources settings
KEY DUTIES
The Pediatrician will have a role of technical assistance for the improvement of the quality of care in the Pediatric Complex.
S/he will:
- support the regular functioning of clinics and ICU, including carrying out clinical activities
- participate in the theoretical and practical training of department staff on the application of national and international guidelines and standards
- contribute to the strategy of improving the quality of services, collaborating in the evaluation of the treatments offered and in the development or update of protocols
- supervise data collection and analysis and train the department staff
- elaborate technical reports in the area of ​​competence
- contribute to the implementation of operational research activities and scientific publications
