The Eurasia Cluster currently consists of a cluster manager and three desk managers as well as a program support officer, two health referents and a cluster secretary.
The activities of the Eurasia division are mainly centered on programs in Environmental Health, Sexual and Reproductive Health, Risk Reduction as well as on migration issues.
The geographical scope of the Eurasia cluster is as follows: Bulgaria, Malaysia, Pakistan, Russia, South Caucasus, Nepal, Philippines, Burma. The two health referents share all the countries.
JOB DESCRIPTION :
Under the supervision of the division manager, you provide technical support to the project teams to guarantee the quality of health practices within the programs in their definition and implementation.
The geographical scope of this position currently covers the following countries: Bulgaria, Malaysia and Pakistan.
Your main responsibilities are:
- Contribute to the development of the operational strategy and the advocacy strategy of the programs and participate in the development and construction of projects
- Participate in the definition of indicators, monitoring and evaluation as well as the analysis and valuation of health data
- Supervise the planning and monitoring of health activities and dedicated human and financial resources
- Contribute to the development, implementation and adaptation of tools, protocols and frameworks for programs
- Monitor and analyze the health situation and health policies in the countries in your portfolio
- Supervise and analyze the management of pharmaceutical products
- Participate in the recruitment of health personnel and contribute to team briefings
- Provide technical support regarding team health within the framework of MdM rules and policies
- Represent the association at conferences
- Participate in internal MdM training
- Contribute to the writing of reports or scientific articles

REQUIRED PROFILE :
Profile doctor, nurse, pharmacist, midwife/maieutician
Knowledge or experience in public health
Minimum 3 years of field experience in NGOs in medical coordination positions
Training or knowledge in project management desired
Languages: fluent French and English both oral and written essential
