Objective:
Mehad is currently looking for Psycho-Social Support Worker to join our program designed to provide the emergency workers of the Syria Recovery Trust Fund (SRTF), and their families, with PSS peer support groups to increase their psychological well being
Main Responsibilities and Duties
Main responsibilities/Duties:
- Support the curriculum planning for PSS group sessions running from children, adolescents, and adults
- Support the scheduling planning for PSS group sessions running from children, adolescents, and adults
- Conduct psychosocial support group sessions with beneficiaries in Turkish or Arabic
- Document session notes
- Prepare Weekly reports
- Respect beneficiary confidentiality
- Perform other duties as assigned by the direct supervisor
Language
Proficient in Turkish and Arabic, and English
SKILLS
Computer Skills
- Proficient with Kobotoolbox surveys
- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs
- Proficient with Google Drive programs
ACADEMIC EDUCATION
- BA in Psychology, sociology, or other related field
- A Master’s degree is a plus
EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE
- 1–2 years of experience
- Experience in the field of Psychology and vulnerability/disability
